09-15 CTS-V Front K-Member/Subframe (OEM Replacement)

V2 CTS-V Front Subframe — Built In-House at ScroggsFab

The wait is finally over. Our V2 CTS-V front subframes are now available and better than ever. Each one is hand-built right here in-house from 1.5” x .095” wall 4130 chromoly tubing and .125” chromoly plate. They’re built for strength, precision, and clearance — not mass production.

This is a direct OEM replacement that bolts right up using all factory mounting points, so installation is straightforward. The tubular design opens up a ton of space in the engine bay for bigger turbos, exhaust systems, and easier service access. You’ll also drop some serious weight — this subframe weighs about 28 lbs, compared to the factory aluminum version at roughly 50 lbs with the sway bar attached.

  • ABS module and heat exchanger pump provisions

  • Removable radiator brackets

  • 1.5” tow hooks/tie-downs made from 3/16” chromoly

  • No sway bar provision

  • Removes rear mounts for more clearance with low-mount turbo setups

  • Compatible with Creative Steel motor mounts (OEM mounts may require modification)

  • TIG welded, fully built in-house

  • Constructed from .095” wall 1.5” chromoly tubing and .125” chromoly plate

  • Powder coated black — custom colors available by request (additional cost may apply)
